I am 48, divorced with three teenage children and three cats. Depression has twisted and distorted my life for many years. This blog, Pushing and Elephant up the Stairs, is a more or less daily journal of my thoughts, opinions, visited web sites etc. There used to be a second second, but rather than writing two blogs, Diet Coke, which focuses on mental health issues, both my experience of depression and more general writing on the subject is now a catagory.
